Gordon Wood BA(Dunelm) MA(Cantab) FRICS - Managing Director
With over 30 years of experience in commercial property, Gordon provides clear, logical and balanced advice to clients.
Commencing his career at the retail specialist Clive Lewis and Partners, Gordon carried out agency, professional and investment work, eventually specialising in business parks and industrial units, advising Land Securities on retail warehousing and their expansion into warehouse premises.
At Colliers Erdman Lewis, he created an in-house fund department acting for the pension funds of WH Smith, Michelin, Kingfisher and LWT.
In 1995 Gordon moved to Catella Property Consultants, a pan-European property consultancy acting on behalf of clients including the IKEA Group. He took over as Managing Director in 1998.
Establishing Dexter Wood and Partners in 2003, Gordon continues to offer a personal service of the highest level to his clients.
Gordon represented England under 23's and the Barbarians at rugby and ran for Great Britain Juniors at athletics. Although no longer active in these sports, Gordon is involved with events such as the National Surveyors Sevens, where he was Chairman.
Colin Lambert FRICS
Colin brings 25 years working experience as a chartered surveyor to Dexter Wood.
He has specialised in commercial management having worked on a range of multilet investments from shopping centres to office and industrial parks, and was instrumental in the site aquisition for the N1 Shopping Centre Islington in 2002.
He currently oversees the company's nationwide management portfolio.
Colin worked for many years as an RICS panel arbitrator and is currently undertaking mediation training for both the RICS and Law Society exams.
A former Harlequins, London and England rugby player, he is a Royal Yaching Association Sailing instructor with four Altantic crossings and over 50,000 sea miles behind him.
